Mid Ky had its Classic at KY and Lake Barkley on October 10th and 11th. Here are the results. Jeff Helms and Matthew Mattingly came in 1st place with a two day total of 18 lbs 2 oz and they also had big fish weighing 4 lbs 13 oz. Coming in 2nd was the team of Eddie Goode and Jeff Boone with a two day total of 10 lbs and 3.8 oz. Third place went to the team of Jason Edelen and Justin Mattingly with a two day total of 1 lb 10.2 oz. Congratulations to you all and I hope you have had a good time fishing with each other this season.

Mid Ky had its tournament on Barren River on September 12th here are the results for that tournament. Coming in 1st place was the team of Eddie Goode and Jeff Boone 2nd place went to the team of Jeff Helms and Matthew Mattingly. 3rd place went to the team of Shelton Young and John Grundy. I apologize I did not get any weights for this tourney.
The Mid-KY Puddle Jumper Club has came to a close for the season. Winning first place was our President of the Puddle Jumpers and his alternate partner Justin Mattingly. Second went to Jimmy Darrell and Jason Spalding. Third Tom Mattingly and Mike Warford. Fourth John Grundy. Fifth Mike Smith. Sixth Eddie Goode and Ron Gordon. Seven to Joey Brady and Chris Mattingly, Eigth went to Timmy and Jared Gribbins. Ninth went to Matthew Mattingly. Tenth to Gordon Kent. Eleventh to Shelton Young. Twelvth to J. Ramsey and Stephen Squires. Thirteen went to Jimmy Spalding and Gary Wethington. Last but not least Fourteenth went to Mark Caldwell. Congratulations to everyone on a good season. Classic Winners are as follows 1st Jimmy and Jason Spalding with 6.69 lbs. 2nd Tom Mattingly and Mike Warford with 5.96 lbs. 3rd Jason Edelen with 1.35 lbs. Congratulations to you all.
Please make sure before the tournaments start you have read over the rules and have a good understanding of them so no misunderstandings are made. If you have any questions about any rules please feel free to ask about them.
Always remember while we are on the water to be mindful of other boaters and non boaters alike. Please practice good sportsmanship and above all be safe.

Banquet for Mid Ky and Puddle Jumpers:
The Banquet will be at the Marion County Sportsman Club (MCSC) on Nov. 7 (Saturday) at 7 pm est.Mid Ky and Puddle Jumpers will provided the meat (elk,chicken and hot dogs) and drinks for this banquet. It will also be a pot luck if you could bring a dish that would be great. I ask that you please R.S.V.P. (Me or Shelton) and also let us know what kind of dish you are bringing. Mid Ky and Puddle Jumpers are also inviting the (MCSC) fishing members to come to the banquet and see what we are about and maybe make some new friends and also some new teams for our circuit for the 2010 season.
This will probably be the last email for the 2009 season. Its been a pleasure fishing with you guys. I wish I could have made it bigger and better but I feel like I failed in that department. I think with the way the economy is and everyone out of work its hard to do any extra, like fish Bass tournaments. I am leaving you in good hands for the 2010 season. Shelton has alot a new ideas and will be going over some of them at the banquet for everyone to be thinking about over the winter months.
Thanks for allowing me to be your president. I have enjoyed the 2009 fishing season and hope to see you on the water.
